OUR STORY
Fulton Family Farm traces its roots to 1938 when J.L. Fulton bought the land with his wife Annie Mae to raise their family. J.L. worked for the railroad and raised cattle while Annie Mae tended the garden and their two daughters. Flash forward some 90 years and their granddaughter Tara and husband Michael continue to care for the family land. Tara's fondest memories as a child were of spending each summer at the farm with Granny and Papaw, helping to shell peas and hay cattle. Michael was a cowboy from an early age and does his best to follow J.L. in tending to the livestock. Tara inherited her grandmother's green thumb and her garden on the farm and preserving the produce are a tribute to Granny. At a time when so many family farms are being divided and sold, Michael and Tara couldn't let that happen and are dedicated to upholding that legacy, preserving the past ways and honoring family.
